Meals on Wheels San Francisco

Back to list Down Arrow

Whilst working for WANdisco in the incredibly welcoming city of San Francisco we decided to volunteer one Thanksgiving Day to work with Meals on Wheels to hopefully give something back. Even though their volunteer slots were filled for the day, a heart-felt email plea struck a chord and managed to get us through the door.

Since that day we have returned every year to help deliver over 2,640 meals in one day to those less fortunate and have forged some lifelong friendships that now tie us even closer to this wonderful city.

Being part of such an incredible event allowed us to experience how Meals on Wheels communicates with their audience and whilst talking with Kathy Stirling, Director of their Volunteer Program she explained the need to evolve how they told their story.

We created a suite of literature that they could use to illustrate simply what they do and how others could help. This evolved into further presentation materials and event promotions.

They had just been introduced to a new corporate brand identity so it was perfect timing to help them utilise and interpret this across everything that they needed.

With Rednine’s guidance, Meals on Wheels San Francisco, changed it’s entire look and feel overnight. The incredible branding updates and language garnered more “hits” and volunteers than we have had in over 5 years. The messaging was exact, simple, creative and powerful!

Rednine created something special, direct and meaningful for Meals on Wheels San Francisco, that changed the way people interact with us. With Robin’s creative eye and sense of style, he was able to speak to a generation of people who forgot what we did because our style was so out of date. We have had a 200% increase in volunteerism with the new marketing tools that were created for us. Simple the best!
